Hee! I really loved this story! I could not resist leaving you a review, which I hope is OK, even though I'm not part of the YGO fandom. (But, I am a Kitt-fic fan, so that should count. ^.~)

I really enjoyed the internal angst you portrayed here, and I felt like you did a great job of capturing the tense feeling that precedes performing or competing. I also think you did a wonderful job with Anzu's character here. You have portrayed her so realistically, when it seems like so many YGO stories just make her into some kind of horrible caricature of herself. I really enjoyed the needy feelings she had (needing support from her friends) and the way you balanced that out perfectly with her unselfish desire for their health and welfare. And, I thought you gave it the perfect ending, too. I think it is so much more fitting to end it before her performance, than to follow through with whether she wins or not ... because, in Anzu's mind, she has already won, just because she knows her friends care about her as much as she cares for them. Thanks for such a wonderful story! *hugs*
